Description: The original passive system was constructed in 1995 for $204,647 and included an Anoxic Limestone Drain and a Vertical Flow Pond. An upgrade was completed in 2005 for $83,400 in which the Vertical Flow Pond was rebuilt due to plugging issues. Tthe number of laterals in the underdrain was increased from 6 to 11, the stone which original was 2B was replaced with AASHTO #3, and the composted was replaced. The ALD also kept plugging so a flushing system was added. . In 2008 the ALD was converted to a limestone ramp for about $25,000.
