"This is an in-stream sampling point that was taken near the mouth of Montgomery Creek at Hyde. This sampling point corresponds to point MC1 of the Montgomery Creek TMDL study. Average flow at this site was 11,888 gpm. At its mouth, the stream is net acid, contributing about 2205 lbs/day of acid, 49 lbs/day of iron, 356 lbs/day of manganese, and 185 lbs/day of aluminum to the West Branch Susquehanna River at its confluence.
