US Dept. Of Energy National Energy Technology Lab (USDOE NETL)

The United States Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Lab supports DOE’s mission to advance the national, economic, and energy security of the United States. NETL implements a broad spectrum of energy and environmental research and development (R&D) programs that will return benefits for generations to come. Many of the early researchers involved with passive systems who were with the US Bureau of Mines were absorbed by NETL such as Dr. Bob Kleinmann and George Watzlaf.
