"This is an in-stream sample that was taken at the mouth of the unnamed tributary (Killer Trib) just upstream of the confluence with Montgomery Creek. This point corresponds to TMDL point MT3. Average flow is 803 gpm, and the average pH was 3.6. The stream is net acid at this point. The Killer Trib contributes an average of 950 lbs/day of acid, 23 lbs/day of iron, 224 lbs/day of manganese, and 93 lbs/day of aluminum to the main stem of Montgomery Creek.
