From there the water goes into the settling pond. After the settlin pong the discharge is furher treated as it passes through two aerobic wetlands before going through its final treatment phase in the managnese removal bed. It is then dishcarged into Champion Creek. MWA estimates $23,000 annual cost to monitor and maintain.
