Description: The Limestone Diversion Wells were constructed to boost alkalinity to the stream. Hoppers were constructed to store and periodically add limestone to the well. They were damaged in 2004 Ivan floods. They were repaired, then intake was filled in and pipes were filled in with sediment during 2006 floods. Constant plugging maintenance issue with being on the stream channel.
