Description: The Gibson-Halstock discharge emerges from a surface mine along the north slope of Little Laurel Run, a tributary of Clearfield Creek. Typical flow is about 100 gpm with acidity 55 mg/L, Fe 2 mg/L and Al 4 mg/L. In 2016, treatment systems consisting of 2 flushable limestone beds plus an inflow settling basin, and 2 outflow settling basins were completed.
