The average water chemistry is pH 3.5, acidity 200 mg/L, Fe 1.4, Mn 5.6 and Al 31 mg/L at a flow rate of 31 gal/min. The system consists of an inflow settling pond, a vertical flow pond, a flushing system, a settling pond and a wetland.
